1. About us

DAR-AL THAWB (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and sells Arabian thobes, shemaghs and related accessories. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Use of the website

You may use this site for lawful, personal shopping only. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish or exploit any part of the site or its content for commercial purposes without our written permission. We reserve the right to suspend access if we suspect misuse.

3. Orders and pricing

All prices are shown in British Pounds (£GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice, but the price charged will be the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it. An order is only accepted once we confirm it by email and take payment. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, or we suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.

4. Payment

We accept card payments and Apple Pay through our payment provider, Stripe. Payment is taken at the point of order. We do not store your card details. If a payment fails, your order will not be processed.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the UK and selected European countries listed at checkout. Delivery is free to the UK and Europe on orders over £65; otherwise a flat delivery fee applies. Delivery times are estimates and start from the working day after dispatch. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier or customs processes.

6. Returns and refunds

You may return unworn, unwashed items with original tags attached within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Items that show signs of wear, damage, or missing tags will not be accepted. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

7. Product descriptions

We try to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. Sizing information is provided as a guide; please check the size guide before ordering.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the DAR-AL THAWB name, logo, product images, descriptions, designs and branding — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding, content or images without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

9. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from your use of the site or purchase of our products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order will apply to that order. Please check this page regularly for changes.
